Venezuela

The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, described as a major achievement of Venezuelan diplomacy, the country's return to the International Monetary Fund after six years of institutional blockage, which opens the door to more than five billion dollars in frozen reserves. The World Bank has also resumed relations with Venezuela. In her address to the nation announcing this, Delcy Rodriguez also enacted the organic mining law. 

Spain

At this hour in Spain, the summit called global progressive mobilization is already underway. On this first day, a bilateral meeting is being held between presidents Pedro Sanchez and Rula da Silva. Over the weekend, with the presence of Petro, Schoenbaum, Orsi, and other leaders and parties from dozens of Latin American and European countries, the summit seeks to build an international alliance of governments of progressive forces to defend democracy, strengthen cooperation, economic, social, and technological, and confront the rise of the right and far right globally. 

United States

And the government of the United States announced a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon following the recent round of negotiations in Washington. Israel's attacks on Lebanon killed at least two thousand Lebanese and provoked more than one million people displaced. And that's our news.
