Iran - United States

The president of Iran says that the United States naval blockade of Iran is the main obstacle to genuine negotiations.

On his X account, the president affirmed that Iran maintains its willingness to reach agreements but directly pointed to the White House for failing to keep its promises and maintaining the blockade around the Strait of Hormuz.

He described the US position as hypocritical, citing a deep gap between its diplomatic statements and its military actions in the region.

Argentina

In Argentina, the far-right pro United States, Javier Melie returning from Israel, is meeting this Thursday at the Casa Rosada presidential palace with Peter Thiel, the billionaire cofounder of Palantir Technologies, a mass intelligence company created with CIA funding and one of the main financiers of Donald Trump's 2026 campaign.

The meeting, which has generated concern over the possible hiring of digital surveillance services for the Argentine state, strengthens ties between the governing far right in Argentina, its alignment with Israel, and the most controversial sector of global technological powers.

Peru

In Peru, a protest was held in front of the National Jury of Elections to reject the request of far-right candidate Rafael Lopez-Aliaga, who is in third place in the partial vote count of the recent presidential elections, demanding complimentary elections and alleging, without evidence, premeditated fraud against him.

Meanwhile, the social democratic candidate Roberto Sanchez, political hear of president Pedro Castillo, who rose to second place in the vote count, resume his campaign activities assuming he will face on June 7th, the right-wing candidate Keiko Fujimori, daughter of dictator Alberto Fujimori, who leads the tally.
