Polls show Petro's political ally, left-wing candidate Iván Zepeda, as the frontrunner while Donald Trump is seen as pushing to curb the rise of leftist movements across Latin America.

Venezuela

This Thursday, a pilgrimage converged in Caracas under the slogan, United for a Venezuela without sanctions and in peace, after having traveled through the 24 states of the country. May 1st, International Workers' Day, will mark the end of the march in which acting President Delcy Rodríguez will formalize the demand while also announcing a moderate increase in the minimum wage.
