China-Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin, ahead of his Wednesday visit with his counterpart Xi Jinping, released a video message to the Chinese people in which he emphasized that cooperation between Moscow and Beijing is not directed against any third country, but instead, he said, seeks to contribute to global stability and prosperity. 

During the two-day meeting, both leaders will seek to coordinate their positions in response to global instability, the impact of oil prices, and the deepening of their comprehensive strategic partnership.

Bolivia

In Bolivia, as protests approach the one-month mark, tensions are once again escalating following the reinstatement of road blockades on the country's main highways. 

Demonstrators are protesting shortages under the right-wing neoliberal government of President Rodrigo Paz and are demanding his resignation. 

The government issued an arrest warrant for the leader of the Bolivian Workers' Center, an organization that responded by denouncing that the Paz government, instead of listening to the people, is responding with militarization and repression.

Iran-United States

And today, Tuesday, negotiations between Iran and the United States remain tense, but show signs of possible progress, as Washington may be willing to make some concessions to the Iranian proposal, while the oil market reacts with volatility and an upward trend due to geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East.
