Invamer, Colombia's leading polling firm, published this Thursday its final survey before the first round of the presidential elections on May the 31st.

The poll shows leftist Iván Cepeda leading voter in tension with 44%, 13 points ahead of his closest rival, the far-right candidate Abelardo de la Ebrilla, and 30 points ahead of Paloma Valencia, Uribe's candidate, who is in third place.

In a run-off scenario, Cepeda appears to be winning against any of his rivals.

The Bolivian Workers' Central continues the strict mobilizations, which are now approaching one month, and they continue demanding the resignation of the right-wing neoliberal president Rodrigo Paz for failing to address their demands and for carrying out cuts to social programs.
