Colombia - United States

Colombian President Gustavo Petro responded harshly to Donald Trump's endorsement of far-right candidate Abelardo de la Espriella ahead of the runoff election, describing it as foreign interference.

Petro said, "when one country intervenes in the decision of another, freedom dies". He also called on Colombians to vote freely, without external pressure, and not to become anyone's slaves or colony.

Trump, as he has previously done with Milei in Argentina and Asura in Honduras, has now got himself into Colombia's election by endorsing and congratulating far-right candidate de la Espriella for his performance in their first round, saying, "because of his tremendous achievements in life and his political support for me, it is personally an honor for me to give Abelardo my full and absolute endorsement".

Bolivia

In Bolivia, two ministers from the right-wing neoliberal government of Rodrigo Paz submitted their resignations, the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Education.

The protests and roadblocks have now lasted more than a month and continue demanding President Paz's resignation, while former President Evo Morales denounced the establishment of a permanent DEA office in La Paz.

Iran - United States

And in response to the U.S. bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran launched Operation Announcement of Victory, firing missiles at the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and other U.S. military targets in the region as an act of retaliation and self-defense against what is described as an aggression against its territory.
