Colombia

In Colombia, candidate Ivan Cepeda announced the challenge of 33,000 polling stations across the country and moved the presidential decision of the second round to the official vote count. 

Cepeda framed the decision by pointing to the narrowest margin recorded in any run-off election in Colombian electoral history, making it clear that once the official count and the corresponding verifications are completed, he will respect the final result.

Bolivia

In Bolivia, the right-wing neoliberal president Rodrigo Paz and the Bolivian Workers' Central signed an agreement aimed at ending the crisis triggered by nearly two months of protests. 

Despite this, the pact has failed to close the social divide, as farming sectors in La Paz and Cochabamba continue their protest actions, making it evident that the demands of the Bolivian people have not been yet fully addressed. 

Iran - United States

And the government of Iran points to the United States as directly responsible for the Israeli bombings in Lebanon, which have continued, and warns that it will take the necessary measures in response to the situation.

Talks between Iran and the US regarding the Memorandum of Understanding concluded in Switzerland, with both sides agreeing to continue negotiations over the next 60 days through diplomatic channels in a future round.
