Venezuela
Today marks 30 days since the twin earthquakes that shook Venezuela, and the government of Acting President Delcy Rodríguez has succeeded in rescuing more than 5,000 people.
It has also already delivered 240 homes to those affected by the disaster, with another 4,000 homes to be delivered by the end of the year and 10,000 more during 2027.
On the international front, the government of Rodríguez also recovered more than $300 million of its own funds that has been withheld by the IMF. Those funds will be used for reconstruction, and the government is planning the reconstruction and recovery of the affected areas together with the United Nations.
Iran-U.S.
The United States Central Command confirmed the 13th consecutive night of attacks against Iranian territory.
Iran corresponded with attacks on U.S. bases in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, and continues to maintain the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
Europe
And in France, 23,000 people were evacuated due to wildfires that destroyed 2,400 hectares of forest.
Meanwhile, in Madrid, more than 1,200 people have been evacuated as a precaution because of wildfires affecting the countries as well as other parts of Europe.
